How much does a site cost?+
It depends on the pages and features you need, so I don't publish a price list. We do a 15-minute call where I mostly listen. Within one business day of our call, I send you a written quote with three options. You pay half to start and half when the site is finished, before it goes live.
What if I don't like it?+
If you're serious about a site, I'll build you a mockup of your homepage before you pay anything. Two rounds of changes are standard, and if you want more after that, I'll tell you the cost before I do it. Nothing goes live until you sign off.
Who owns the site?+
Once your final payment is in, the site is yours: the design, the custom code, and the words written for it. It stays yours whether or not you keep a monthly plan with me. Your domain stays in your name, and I connect it for you.
Do I have to pay monthly?+
No. After launch, I fix anything I built that isn't working right, at no charge, for 14 days on smaller builds and 30 days on bigger ones. After that, a monthly plan is optional. Every plan keeps your site running and fixes what breaks, and the bigger plans also cover updates as your business changes. You can cancel with 30 days' notice, and I hand over every login I hold within 48 hours of your last day.
Is it just you?+
Yes. You deal with me from the first call through launch and after, and it's my phone that rings when you call.
Do I need to know what I want yet?+
No. That's what the questions are for. Most owners come in with a feeling that the site isn't pulling its weight, and we sharpen it from there.
What will you need from me?+
Whatever you already have: a logo, photos of your work, a rough list of what you offer, and your domain login if you own one. If you're missing some of it, say so in the form. We plan around the gaps before the build starts, so nothing stalls halfway through.
How soon can we start?+
Usually within a week of our call, once the deposit is in and I have your logo and photos. Boy Howdy went live within 14 days of their deposit, and your timeline goes in your written quote. If you need it fast, put your deadline in the notes box at the end of the form and ask about a rush slot, and I'll tell you straight whether I can hit it.
What happens after I hit send?+
I read it myself and call or text you within one business day with a straight answer on whether I'm the right fit. If I am, we set up a 15-minute call. You won't get put on a mailing list.
